PolitiCo est une équipe interdisciplinaire de recherche en politique et cognition qui rassemble principalement des professeur.es et des chercheur.es en science politique et en psychologie. Les travaux menés au sein de l’équipe visent à étudier l’interface entre la cognition humaine et la vie politique en mobilisant les plus récents travaux théoriques et méthodologiques. Les thèmes couverts sont notamment la complexité et le dynamisme de la prise de décision politique, les processus de traitement de l’information destinée aux décideurs publics, les attitudes et la saillance individuelle des enjeux, la perception et l’évaluation des objets politiques et le rôle des émotions en politique.

L’équipe est dirigée par Sébastien Tremblay, professeur titulaire en psychologie à l’Université Laval, et Marc André Bodet, professeur titulaire en science politique à l’Université Laval.
